World Fabrication Foundry began at a game table, with one printer and a group of friends who needed terrain built to their ideas.

David was the only one in the group with a 3D printer. So there were nights—and plenty of weekends—with tape measures, a well-thumbed codex, and plans for mountains, buildings, and vehicles. We started printing in 2020 and opened the Etsy shop in 2023 to make more pieces for fellow players and help keep local game tables and shops lively.

Before the printers, we made buildings and kill zones from styrofoam packing and oddly shaped cardboard. That creative habit is still here; the prints just let us take it further.

Today David and Benjamin run an eight-printer farm together. We also print functional pieces for local businesses, but tabletop gaming remains the fun part. Ships and cosplay pieces are projects we take on by request.
